JPL Releases CLARAty

June 13, 2007

JPL released a rover control software developed under the Mars Technology Program called CLARAty. CLARAty stands for Coupled-Layer Architecture for Robotic Autonomy. It is a collaborative effort among four institutions:

Portions of this software were made public on Wednesday June 13, 2007. For more information please visit http://claraty.jpl.nasa.gov.

The lead developer of CLARAty is Dr. Issa Nesnas of JPL.
